What a difference a year makes for Pompey...
It seems a lifetime ago, but it's hard to believe it was just one year ago today that one of the most famous nights in Fratton Park's history took place.
Since that bitterly-cold November night, two Pompey managers have lost their jobs and the ownership of the club has also twice changed hands.
But that night, highly-decorated Italian giants AC Milan arrived on the south coast for an eagerly-anticipated Uefa Cup clash expecting to brush FA Cup winners Pompey aside.
An hour into a pulsating contest, though, played out to a backdrop of one of the most highly-charged atmospheres of recent years, Milan's superstars were left wondering what had hit them in a cauldron of noise.
As 'Tony Adams' Blue and White Army' belted around all corners of the ground, the Blues were in dreamland just beyond the hour mark when Younes Kaboul powered home a header from Glen Johnson's cross.
Then as Kanu slid home a second soon afterwards to put Pompey 2-0 up, the now famous chant of 'Are you Bournemouth in disguise?' was trotted out by the Fratton faithful.
But they hadn't bargained for the sting in the tail - provided by Ronaldinho's free-kick and Pippo Inzaghi's injury-time leveller.
Despite the late heartbreak, it was a famous night for the club. It's fair to say, things are a bit different just 12 months on.
