Deadly Defoe double sinks Boro

Jermain Defoe's second-half double sealed Pompey's first home win of the season as they came from behind to beat Middlesbrough at Fratton Park.
The England striker turned in a fabulous second-half performance to cancel out Mido's first-half strike, as the Blues hitman buried the winner four minutes from time.
Pompey's successful wing-back formation from the win at Everton lasted just 45 minutes as Boro's Egyptian striker capitalised on a defensive error in the Pompey backline to slot past David James.
But a tactical revamp at half-time from Harry Redknapp - and substitutes Nadir Belhadj and John Utaka adding real penetration - saw Pompey dominate the second period.
They got back on terms just before the hour mark as Peter Crouch slid Defoe through on goal to hammer in an equaliser.
And Defoe did it again in the dying minutes as Boro failed to clear a loose ball inside the area and the striker thrashed home a volley to win the points and send Fratton Park wild.
