Neil Allen brings you live updates from the Blues' pre-season friendly at the Silverlake Stadium.
Paul Hart named largely the side which finished the second half against Basingstoke on Saturday.
However, there was a welcome return for Hermann Hreidarsson having been given extended leave after summer international duty.
Angelos Basinas, Richard Hughes, Younis Kaboul and Asmir Begovic were also included in an otherwise youthful opening XI.
In addition, Sylvain Distin, Nadir Belhadj, Papa Bouba Diop, Niko Kranjcar and David Nugent are all scheduled to feature in the second half.
Pompey: Begovic, Moutaouakil, Hreidarsson, Basinas, Ward, Kaboul, Cowan-Hall, Hughes, Subotic, Mahoto, Ritchie.
0 mins - And they're off
1 mins - Danijel Subotic fires an effort from distance which flies narrowly over the bar.
4 - A sublime Gautier Mahoto pass frees Subotic and his measured cross picks out Paris Cowan-Hall perfectly, yet his goal-bound far-post header strikes Ian Oliver and Eastleigh breathe easy.
5 - GOAL - From Basinas' resulting left-wing corner, Kaboul sends a powerful header into the net to give Pompey the lead.
10 - More good work from Subotic sends Cowan-Hall racing through but his final touch is heavy and Jason Matthews saves.
10 - GOAL - Basinas swings in the corner, Hreidarsson flicks on and Cowan-Hall bundles it home with his head.
19 - So comfortable for Pompey at the moment, Hughes threads through a delightful pass to present Cowan-Hall with another chance but he shoots straight at Matthews.
21 - Eastleigh make an early substitution with Brett Williams coming on for Andy Forbes.
26 - GOAL - Kaboul's long ball over the top causes chaos as Tom Jordan nicks it with his head past the advancing keeper and Subotic slams it into an empty net.
27 - Brett Poate is booked after a dreadful challenge on Basinas which requires lengthy treatment.
35 - Worry times, Hreidarsson walks off the pitch, presumably with a complaint of some kind, and he is replaced by Tom Kilbey.
39 - GOAL - Eastleigh pull one back when Tony Taggart's left-wing cross is glanced home by the head of Williams.
41 - Pompey respond well, Moutaouakil's first-time right wing centre vollied narrowly wide by Subotic.

46 - Jamie Ashdown and Marlon Pack are the only changes at present. Ashdown replaces Begovic in goal while Basinas, who took a nasty knock in the first half, is off for Academy prospect Pack.
50 - Cowan-Hall is desperately unlucky not to net a second, drifting inside two defenders before cutting inside and firing in a shot which ricochets off the inside of the far post.
Expect to see the remainder of the substitutes come on on the hour mark.
54 - A mix-up between Joel Ward and Kaboul gifts Taggart with a chance but he fires over from just outside the box.
58 - It's 10 substitutions for Pompey. Entering the arena are Nugent, Pancrate, Kranjcar, M'Bami, Bopp, Diop, Wilson, Distin, Belhadj and Hurst.
63 - Belhadj produces a typical raid down the left and cuts the ball back to Kranjcar who drives it into the side netting.
68 - Another Pompey set-piece causes havoc in the Eastleigh defence, this time both Diop and then Nugent seeing headers blocked before M'Bami drives a first-time effort narrowly wide.
73 - Good link-up play between Nugent and Kranjcar, yet the former spoils it by curling a shot over from inside the box.
75 - GOAL - Bopp threads through a pass for Nugent and the striker cooly slots the ball past the advancing keeper.
80 - GOAL - It's Nugent again with a stunning volley from Pancrate's first-time cross from the right.
83 - Nugent's denied a hat-trick after charging down and clearance and then clipping in a shot from distance which is met with a flying take from the keeper.
88 - GOAL - It's there! Nugent has a hat-trick! He collected Kranjcar's ball and brilliantly clipped it over the keeper it make it 6-1.
