Jordan Cross brings you live updates from Fratton Park.
Pompey 2 Spurs 0 FT

Pompey start a big seven days at home to Spurs with Harry Redknapp handing a debut to Glen Little. Richard Hughes continues in midfield. Spurs continue with the 4-5-1 system which harvested midweek victory at Newcastle in the Carling Cup. That means Darren Bent has to settle for a place on the bench.

Pompey: James, Johnson, Distin, Campbell, Traore, Little, Hughes, Diarra, Belhadj, Crouch, Defoe. Subs: Ashdown, Kaboul, Hreidarsson, Pamarot, Utaka, Mvuemba.

Spurs: Gomes, Corluka, Dawson, Woodgate, Ekotto, Gilberto, Jenas, O'Hara, Bentley, Zokora, Pavlyuchenko. Subs: Sanchez, Huddlestone, Lennon, Bent, Modric, Gunter, Dos Santos.

00: Spurs kick off.
03: Defoe has the ball in the back of the net from Crouch's flick but the flag is correctly up for offside
05: Campbell fails to deal with a delivery across the face of goal and Gilberto nearly cashes in, but the ball is smothered and cleared by Diarra.
11: Hughes thumps a shot at Gomes from 20 yards which the keeper fists away to safety.
13: Diarra makes a fine saving tackle to deny O'Hara who is free in the box.
15: Defoe flicks Hughes centre into the arms of Gomes.
17: Belhadj skips past two white shirts but Gomes acrobatically claims his centre from the on-rushing Crouch.
19: Little gets at Ekotto to win a corner which Crouch heads over.
21: Hughes smashes a great volley from Little's corner which Gomes does superbly to keep out.
26: A chance for Spurs as O'Hara is free again in the box but he mishits his shot into the arms of James.
27: Woodgate is booked for charging James after he collects a cross.
32: O'Hara is booked for crunching Little.
GOAL! 34 Pompey have the lead from the penalty spot. Jenas commits a blatant handball from Little's free-kick and Defoe makes no mistake, hammering the ball to Gomes' right.
38: Diarra is booked for hauling down Zokora.
Half-time: Pompey 1 Spurs 0.

46: Lennon replaces Gilberto. Pompey restart the game.
54: A surging run from Traore sees him break clear but Gomes holds his drive.
55: Spurs have strong appeals for a penalty turned down when Diarra appears to handle Lennon's cross, but ref Mike Dean awards a corner to the anger of the away fans.
56: Belhadj is booked for hauling down Zokora.
58: Dos Santos replaces Zokora.
61: Utaka replaces Little.
66: Pavlyuchenko gets a foot to Bentley's whipped free-kick but the ball flies over.
67: Campbell does well to deny Pavlyuchenko as he is about to pull the trigger.
GOAL! 68: Pompey have a second with a well worked goal. Defoe is the architect holding off the Spurs defence and teeing up Traore who thumps a shot goalward from 20 yards, Gomes can only parry and Crouch is on hand to nod the ball home.
73: Bent replaces Pavlyuchenko.
77: Bent is free from Woodgate's pass but is dragged wide and blazes his shot over.
80: Crouch is booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle has gone.
84: Hughes gets his customary yellow card for a hack at Dos Santos.
88: James saves well from Lennon's curling effort.
88: Diarra is given a second yellow card for a wreckless and unnecessary challenge on Assou-Ekotto.
89: Defoe is replaced by Kaboul.
90: Lennon is booked for kicking the ball away.
Full-time: Pompey 2 Spurs 0.

We Can Do It

Today's Vote

Is Tony Adams right to make changes to the Pompey side who beat Blackburn?
Adams should stick to the side that earned him his first win at Fratton Park
He should only change things around if there are injuries
If Campbell and Kranjcar are fit they should start
Davis deserves a starting role after his heroics against Blackburn
With a heavy fixture schedule coming up, changes are needed
