Motorists were stuck in huge tailbacks this morning following a crash between a lorry and a car on the M27 westbound near Portsmouth.
The collision happened at around 7.10am, leaving the car stranded close to junction 12 where the M27 meets the M275.

Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene and moved the lorry to the hard shoulder.

Delays stretched back as far as Bedhampton until traffic began to flow again just after 8am.
