PASSENGERS travelling to the Isle of Wight by hovercraft will get a surprise when the hovercraft turns pink.
As part of breast cancer awareness month in October, staff will dress in pink for one week from to- morrow.

The hovercraft will also be decorated pink to help raise awareness about the charity.

Hovertravel spokeswoman Loretta Lale said: 'Hovertravel is delighted to support the Breast Cancer Campaign and hopes to raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause.

'Adding lots of pink to our largest craft and our terminals should be highly noticeable and create the awareness for the campaign that is so desired.'

There will be charity posters, pink balloons and pink collection buckets at both hovercraft terminals.

Several local businesses, tourist attractions and individuals will be holding pink-themed events and activities throughout the month.

For more information on the Isle of Pink and how to take part, please call 020 7749 3708, e-mail isleofpink@breastcancercampaign.org or visit
