THIS week is a good week for those in need of advice and living at Horndean.
Among the many centres offering help during the Citizens Advice Bureau National Advice Week is Merchistoun Hall, in Portsmouth Road.

From 10am until 1pm on Friday a qualified CAB adviser will be available to talk to people.

Discussions can cover any problems people may have.

They could also be on local volunteer opportunities for people who have some time to spare and would like to become involved in the community.

More than 58 per cent of the problems brought to CAB advisers last year concerned debts or entitlement to benefits.

This year's initiative is supported by six national charities, including CAB and Age Concern and is in response to the rapidly-evolving financial crisis.
