Despite their new celebrity status, Hawks players are not letting fame go to their heads.
As they gear up for the biggest game of their footballing careers against Premier League giants Liverpool they have been in the spotlight like never before.
The Havant & Waterlooville players' phones haven't stopped ringing with requests for interviews from newspapers and TV stations across the country.
And at the same time as they field calls they all have full-time jobs to focus on.
On Monday evening, the nation's media flocked to interview the team and the Hawks even brought in Brighton and Hove Albion's press officer to control the torrent of interview requests.
H & W chairman Marcus Hackney said it has been a week like no other.
'I've had to keep my phone on charge all the time. I've been inundated with phone calls.
'It's been crazy – but I wouldn't change it for anything.'
The Hawks' website has been struggling to cope with all the extra visits. Volunteers have been roped in to help at West Leigh Park with the crowds of fans eager to get their hands on tickets since Friday. They sold out in four days.
Mr Hackney says that despite the frenzied excitement that has been mounting since their win against Swansea FC on Wednesday the players have not been distracted.
'They are just really focused on the game in hand,' he said.
'People are saying it will be a great day out at Anfield but we are not treating it as a day out.
'We are treating it as a game of football that can go either way.
'People are also saying we are the underdogs and of course we are, but we are not going up there with the thought of having a kick around with Steven Gerrard. We are going to play football and we've already shown what we are capable of.'
- Hawks fans have the chance to record their very own good luck messages before the big game on Saturday.
- The News is setting up a video shoot in the Meridian Centre, West Street, Havant, for fans.
- We will be at the centre over the next two days recording messages, which will be posted on our website on Friday afternoon ahead of the big match.
