Five acts join the line-up for Isle of Wight Festival

THE Isle of Wight Festival has announced five acts for its 2016 festival.

Joining the line-up at Seaclose Park are returning indie brothers The Cribs, rock’n’roll duo The Kills, Britpop alumni Ocean Colour Scene, legendary rockers Status Quo and festival favourites Mike + The Mechanics.

Queen + Adam Lambert, Stereophonics and Faithless will all perform across the weekend, taking place from June 9 until 12, along with Iggy Pop, Twin Atlantic, Busted, Jess Glynne, Sigma and The Corrs.

Genesis founding member Mike Rutherford will be joined by R&B singers Andrew Roachford and Tim Howar.

It will also be one of the last opportunities to see Status Quo following their recent split announcement. A full range of tickets are at isleofwightfestival.com.
