Have your say

March is here and with a hint of spring in the air it won’t be long before we’ll all be turning up to clubs in our swimwear to enjoy a summer-themed night.

But until then there is plenty going on to get down and dirty to.

I mentioned it in my column a few weeks ago but tonight it becomes official – Tiger Tiger introduces two new clubs after a major investment. Welcome Jewel and Kanaloa.

After months of planning they’re welcoming two of London’s finest bars that are set to invigorate and redefine nightlife in the city of Portsmouth in 2013.

The night will feature celebrity appearances from Blazing Squad’s Kenzie and Kimberly Wyatt from the Pussy Cat Dolls as well as entertainment throughout the venue.

You’ll be greeted with a free champagne reception with canapés, great prizes and giveaways.

Book your place on the guest list by visiting tigertiger.co.uk.

The night runs from 7pm until very late.

One of the most jam-packed free nights in town rolls into the Wedgewood Rooms again tonight – It’s a Sin.

Resident DJs Mikey Sparks from Wolf Cub Club and Carnage and DJ Lemon of Chaos and Delight have been playing clubs and pubs around Portsmouth for a combined total of more than 25 years.

And the gruesome twosome have no shame when it comes to dredging the depths of their music collections to get the ladies dancing around their handbags or the whole room singing. From AC/DC to ZZ-TOP, they’ve got it. The night runs from 10pm until 3am.

Popworld are continuing their run of good form with their newest night which is set to run all weekend. They’re saying ‘the nerds need you’ as they present, Geek Party. Dress in your most nerdish shirt, tank top and corduroys and get free entry all night. They’ll be giving away geeky glasses on the door to complete your look. The night starts at 10pm.
