Have your say

Can you believe we are already half way through January?

There is plenty going on this week to keep you entertained, so don’t start staying in and saving money, get out and about this weekend.

Tonight, Tiger Tiger welcomes a TV favourite hot from the jungle, Joey Essex. He may not be the sharpest tool in the box but he is, as he says, ‘reem’ and he is bound to make tonight totally sick.

Joey is in town from 9pm and tickets are only £5 available from fatsoma.com/events/102173

Get there early as it’s 50 per cent off all drinks before 10pm.

Tomorrow Beats & Swing is back at the Wedgewood Rooms from 9pm until 2am. This time they present Madame Electrifie’s Discotech with support from Chip Jacks.

Madame Electrifie takes the Vintage electro swing style and laces it with anything from hip hop to house.

I haven’t had chance to check these guys out in the flesh yet but I am very excited for the day I do.

All feedback and video footage I have seems to prove they know how to create unique parties that will blow your mind.

Advance tickets are £5 available from the Wedgewood Rooms.

Alternatively, if you fancy something with a bit more soul, head down Albert Road to Bar 50 Six where the Throwback boys are presenting: Souled Out from 9pm until 1am.

Taking over the upstairs of the bar bringing you a house party vibe playing the best old school hip hop, funk and soul.

As well as resident DJ Towa they have invited Holdin’ Court’s very own DJ Ivan6 fresh from hosting some crazy parties in Reading. Entry is free all night.

Lastly, what have Amplified Sessions got in store for us this week at the Astoria?

Is it another head line DJ? Of course it is.

This week they have invited Dale Howard along for the experience from Get Physical and Off Recordings.

Not only does he DJ but he produces a lot of his own tracks too.

Doors open at 10pm until 2am and advance tickets are available from Resident Advisor for only £7.
