It’s the first of the two May Bank Holidays this week and, as you may know, the clubs in town pull out some their biggest events on these long weekends.

Contact are fixed to stage their biggest night of all time tonight as they present a DJ-fest with Contact goes Bionic at The Pyramids Centre.

They team up with Bionic for the first time in years as two of the UK’s leading underground events join forces to bring you a Bank Holiday Extravaganza with one of the world’s leading hardstyle artists.

Italian hardstyle DJ and producer from Bologna, Technoboy is set to headline the event.

Technoboy has performed at some of the biggest events in the world and this year he won Best DJ in the Hard Dance Awards.

The 1,000 plus capacity venue will be rocked to its core by supporting DJs including, Mark EG, Cally & Juice, Brian M & McBunn, Organ Donors, Scorpio, Joey Riot and DJ Sy plus a lot more.

More than 50,000 watts of sound system is waiting to blow clubbers away. So, get down there at 8pm and prepare for what is set to be one of the biggest nights of 2013.

Tickets cost £18. There are a limited number of saver tickets available at Dress Code, Roki Shop and Wedgewood Rooms, Southsea. The night runs until 2am.

The All-Star DJs are back in the Wedge tomorrow night for a special edition of Funktifino.

They are putting on two rooms of smooth tunes as they bring hot DJ Femi B to the party.

Femi B used to be a DJ on pirate radio station Dance FM with Mr C, spinning a delicious mix of deep, soulful US-influenced house as well as programming for Young Disciples.

He was resident at AKA’s 21st Century Soul Party, before heading to the darker confines of The End. He’s now resident at Discotec, playing smooth and pumping house.

The usual suspects support, including Hand Solo with his live percussion expertise. Room two is hosted by the constantly impressing Pure Sex DJs.

Entry costs £5 and the night runs from 10pm until 2.30am.
