Have your say

This week Saturday is jam- packed with events for you to choose from.

First up, Perforate take over The Barn at The Milton Arms from 7pm until 1.30am.

Heading up the techno in room one will be DJ Billy Nasty from Tortured Records.

Although he’s been part of the electronic music scene for 25 years Billy hasn’t lost his hunger for music, gaining extensive experience and a global following. With a string of new releases coming soon he is one to keep an eye on.

Joining him will be DJs Chris Collins, Bruvva Brown, Edcase and DJ LP.

There is also room two which will be pumping out the house music with DJs Spencer Day, Tony Slackshot and my favourite four eyed DJs Stu Bryan and Danni Mac, admission is £8.

I am excited for the next event as I have had my ticket sat waiting for a while now and I can’t wait.

Amplified in the Sky takes place at the top of the iconic Spinnaker Tower from 7pm until 11pm, with 250 limited guests and one of Crosstown Rebels’ leading ladies, Francesca Lombardo.

I saw Francesca earlier this year and for such a small lady she makes a big sound. Not only does she DJ, she is a vocal techniques graduate and an accomplished pianist.

Supporting her are DJs Abbo and Paul Holmes.

At 11pm its straight to the Astoria for the official after party and surprise, surprise, there is another headline act - Skream and Artwork are in town.

Tickets are £27.50 including after party entry, available from residentadvisor.co.uk.

Lastly, my favourite eccentric event, Beats and Swing, are back transforming the Wedgewood Rooms with their style from 9pm.

They will be entertaining you with electro swing and the odd curved ball here and there.

Joining them are the likes of Dutty Moonshine, The McMash Clan and Kiwistar.

This really is a night you should try at least once as there is nothing else like it.

Tickets are £10 in advance available from the Wedgewood Rooms.
