Have your say

I wanted to start by saying a big congratulations to Vault who last week raised £647 for The Stroke Association with their event hosted at the Colonial Bar at Cowplain.

This week is huge for big artists coming to town.

Our promoters are working hard to bring you the best right to your doorstep.

Tonight from 10pm is another Amplified Sessions’ secret party featuring Adam Beyer.

Swedish-born Beyer swapped the drums for turntables and is now globally recognised as a DJ and producer.

He is the founder of Drumcode Records, Truesoul Records, Code Red and Mad Eye Recordings.

There will be three super talented DJs supporting Beyer and all three are, I believe, Portsmouth bred – DJs Reset Robot, Jon Gurd and Chris Vaux.

Do not miss this, tickets are available from resident advisor for £15 and the location will be posted on facebook.

Tomorrow Future Sounds Makes Trance is back at the Lucky Bar in North End for all you trance lovers.

From 2pm join them for 12 hours of pure trance and progressive music with entry only £4 all day long.

Also for the second night in a row Amplified are back at the Astoria from 10pm and, of course, they have booked a big DJ to join them.

This time it’s Russ Yallop from Hot Creations.

Based in Brighton, he previously released music under the name of Rusty James but it wasn’t until he joined Crosstown Rebels label that Russ had his first release, I Can’t Wait, under his own name.

Supporting him are residents Abbo and The Business Partners.

Tickets are £7 available from resident advisor and some will be available on the night.

And lastly on Tuesday, Electric Playground are hosting another mega night featuring DJ EZ at the Registry from 9pm.

Head to the bar for cheap drinks and the dance floor for good tunes.

Tickets are £5 available from resident advisor.
