Oh, I love Bank Holidays. Lengthening the weekend only means one thing, more time to party. There is only one person in this country, though, who has enough influence to increase your party time twofold and that’s Her Royal Highness.

So, put on your most comfortable footwear because this is going to be a long one.

Pure are making a point of the Diamond Jubilee weekend with not one, but two fabulous foam parties.

The first takes place tonight. Pure’s main room will be adorned with British props and balloons for the ultimate Jubilee look. Think of a traditional street party in a box.

The second instalment comes on Sunday.

Get your Union Jack bikinis and board shorts on and prepare for the suds.

Entry is free before 11pm and £2 after. The night starts at 10pm and last entry is 1am.

SHOK and BTMHVY are hitting up The Registry in Portsmouth for the first time this summer providing an absolute banger with Twisted Kaos & Skope from Heavy Artillery Recordings, on Sunday.

This night is for lovers of dubstep, electro, breaks and bassline. The night will be warmed-up from 4pm until 8pm out in the garden as The Registry put on a barbecue and outdoor party. But take it easy to stay at until the early hours.

Tickets cost £5 and are available from fatsoma.com.

Finally, it’s the night that I’m always rattling on about. Love Social at Liquid on Tuesday. UK Club Culture have been putting these nights on for a while now and they continue to get better and better.

I received an email some time ago, which – up to now – I have ignored, claiming that I was glorifying underage clubbing in my column.

My short answer is, I’m doing the complete opposite. Love Social is the perfect place for under 18s to get their release from the pressures of school and college in the most professional and controlled environment.

So, young ladies and gents, have a break from your busy exam period and party to the biggest tunes in house, r ‘n’ b and pop.

Entry costs £8 and includes free soft drinks all nights long and a free cloakroom.
