Portsmouth’s clubs are getting just as excited as you are about Christmas with some great nights and parties.

First off is one of my favourite nights of the month tonight, It’s a Sin. They are celebrating their third birthday at the Wedgewood Rooms tonight so it is set to be a super night.

The usual suspects (DJ Lemon and Spikey) will be playing a special, greatest hits mix which is set to feature all the best retro tunes as well as some guilty pleasures and Christmas songs.

The Edge sees the return of the LJR’s party smasher duo Millsey and DJ Gaskell with their indie mix.

The night starts at 10pm and, as always, is completely free to get in.

Durty 45 returns to Little Johnny Russell’s tonight for another fantastic party in aid of No More Durty Water – a campaign to help provide safe and abundant water for the people of the world. This year they are working closely with Bridge Of Hope Children’s Ministry to fund water based projects for a children’s village in Uganda. The promise tunes you grew up with and will always love. Expect a party extravaganza with the finest collection of vinyl forty fives. Ms Mono from Big Chill Bar and Mark James of Soul 45 will also guest.

Donate on the door for admission.

Fuzzy Logic keep banging out great night after great night at Liquid and this week is no different. They present their Christmas Party for students.

Expect all the best music around, including mainstream dance, electro, r ‘n’ b and indie all with a Christmas theme.

Entry is £5 on the door and the night runs from 10pm until 2.30am.
