Have your say

March started in a huge way last week but don’t think this wave of great nights out is going to stop any time soon. This week we have a packed Friday night and some awesome events to follow.

We start tonight with the recently re-branded Friday club night at Liquid & Envy, FML – Friday’s Mean Liquid.

You’ll still get all the great chart, r ‘n’ b, electro, dub-step and drum ‘n’ bass in the Liquid room as well as Waster, the alternative club night in the sub-room, Envy.

What’s more there are new drink deals on offer. Stella, VK Flavours, Smirnoff, Jager Bombs are just £2 plus double Vodka & Red Bull for £3.

Entry costs £5 on the door or you can grab a bargain at liquidclubs.com/portsmouth and get in for £3.75.

If it’s the sounds of indie you would like to sample tonight, then take a stroll to the Wedgewood Rooms after Who’s Who for The Wolf Cub Club.

The people that brought you OMG! at the Registry present DJS Rob Troubadour and Kelly Strangedeath playing everything from the Kinks to the Kings Of Leon.

Their tag-line is ‘We like to party hard’ so, get down there and see if it’s true.

The night starts at 9pm and runs until 2am. Entry is free.

Finally, to complete the Friday night action, head to Chicago’s in Fareham for their version of Jager Nation.

It is rare that a whole night can be based around one drink but Jager seems to have become a bit of a phenomenon, so go check out Chicago’s tribute.

They’re running some great offers on Jager cocktails where you can pick up a Jager Monster for just £3.50 or a Wild Woman at only £4.

Jager Bombs are available for £3 and their brand new test tubes at just £2.50. Pick up a flyer in town and you’ll get a £1 off a test tube.

Chaos is on tomorrow night. It’s still got to be one of the best ways to spend a five pound note on a Saturday night.

Expect classic and modern alternative floor fillers all night.

The Edge is transformed into the Chaos Lounge with your host Ruby Soho.

The night runs from 10pm until 3am.

Lastly, have the chance to see drum ‘n’ bass uber-producer and all round success story, DJ Fresh at Liquid on Monday night.

Mixmag said ‘It’s impossible to go for 30 minutes on a drum ‘n’ bass dance floor and not hear one of his tracks’ and if you frequent drum ‘n’ bass and dub-step nights then you’ll know that to be very true.

This is a unique event so don’t miss it.

Admission is £6 on the door or £4.50 online.
