You’ll need a few free week nights to enjoy all that is on offer on local dancefloors this week.

Club 8, formally known as Front Room, seems to have made the migration from up and comer to mainstay in recent months. They have constantly been putting together great, mass-appeal nights and drawing-in some of the best underground acts in the country. It’s no wonder they have 9,000 fans on Facebook.

Tonight they continue with their urban vibes with Rewind & Déjà vu, showcasing two of the best local DJs.

Since starting back in 2005, DJ A has come a long way in a relatively short space of time, already having worked alongside names like Tim Westwood, N-Dubz and Artful Dodger.

DJ Stu W has been on the scene for over a decade and still manages to wow crowds with his unique and expertly-executed music video montage.

The night kicks-off at 8pm and entry is free before 10pm

Popular student night, Fuzzy Logic at Liquid gets the special guest treatment on Monday as Ghanaian-British rapper Lethal Bizzle performs live.

His songs satirise modern gangsta rap and in December 2004, he released the single Pow (Forward). Despite being banned from airplay by some mainstream radio stations, it entered the UK Singles Chart at Number 11.

As usual, expect mayhem, games, cheap drinks and mainstream dance, electro, r ‘n’ b and indie.

Entry on the door cost £6 but you can get 40 per cent off by ordering you ticket online at liquidclubs.com/Portsmouth.

Get down to The Registry on Tuesday as Concrete Music brings us the BBC Radio One Essential Mixer and DJ Mag’s Best British Breakthrough Producer of 2011, Eats Everything.

Also known as Bristolian Daniel Pearce, Eats Everything started making waves in the underground house scene last year, with tracks like Entrance Song.

The night runs from 9pm until 3am with a 90-minute set from Eats Everything. Tickets cost £4.
