Hard rock heavyweights Band of Skulls are set to make a triumphant return to their hometown tomorrow as part of their biggest UK tour so far.

The trio are headlining the O2 Guildhall Southampton as part of the eight-date tour to support their latest album, Himalayan.

Produced by Nick Launay (Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, Arcade Fire, Grinderman), the album received high praise on its release in March with The Sun saying it was ‘set to be one of the best albums of the year’, while The NME gave it eight out of 10 and described it fittingly as ‘monumental.’

Having cut their teeth touring the world with the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age, The Black Keys and Muse, the band are building a reputation as one of the most exciting live acts around.

Support’s from the Japanese acid-rockers Bo Ningen. Doors open 7pm, tickets cost £20.50. Call (023) 8063 2601, or go to o2guildhallsouthampton.co.uk
