The News Hair and Beauty Awards take place next weekend and the glamorous show is set to feature performances from two top covers bands bands.

Belle and The Beaus and Splitscreen Radio will both perform at the event at Portsmouth Guildhall next Saturday, June 15.

The awards, now in their third year, received more than 6,000 nominations and the show will see winners announced in 14 categories, with trophies presented by TOWIE star and salon owner Amy Childs.

Fareham soul and funk band Belle and The Beaus will play covers of Adele, Amy Winehouse and ABBA aongs, with frontwoman Karla Bell a trainee hairdresser herself.

While Portchester ska, rock and reggae band Splitscreen Radio will bring the awards audience the sounds of Kings of Leon, Paul Weller and The Jam.
