Fatboy Slim pumped up the volume at Bestival last night.
Just after 10pm last night, the DJ took to the stage and played his hits, including Weapon of Choice, to a cheering 50,000-strong crowd.
The Isle of Wight is bursting with music and revellers this weekend as one of the UK’s most prolific festivals returns.
Robin Hill Country Park is home to thousands of festival-goers as the annual event celebrates its 10th birthday.
Bands including The 1975 and Disclosure warmed up yesterday’s crowd, while M.I.A sent the earlybirds into a frenzy on Thursday.
Too Many T’s hosted the main stage throughout yesterday and The Flaming Lips and Bombay Bicycle Club got the music fans ready for the headliners.
The fancy dress was ‘HMS Bestival’ and the nautical theme stretched as far as the eye could see.
Bestival traditionally marks the end of British summer time, but the sun made a welcome appearance to cheer the welly-clad crowd.
Josh Brown, 21, from Southsea, said: ‘This is the first time I’ve been. I love the music and it’s always really sociable.
‘Getting involved in fancy dress is also a lot of fun.’
Becky Smith, from Havant, said: ‘I love Bestival. I’ve been before and it’s always worth it.
‘I love the fancy dress. Everyone always has great costumes.’
Tonight will see American rapper Snoop Dogg perform on the main stage and Elton John will close the festival tomorrow night.
Other acts including DJ Fresh, Tom Odell and Franz Ferdinand.
