Guilfest may have been cancelled, but that doesn’t mean festival fans have to miss their fix of outdoor music in Guildford this summer.

A ‘replacement’ festival is taking place in the form of Magic Summer Live at Stoke Park today and Sunday.

It will include sets from Jamiroquai, Bryan Adams, James Morrison and Joss Stone and was introduced after Scotty Events, the company which ran Guilfest, went into liquidation in September blaming poor ticket sales and, in turn, bad weather of previous years.

The new organisers, Live Nation and Magic 105.4, are looking to attract 25,000 people each day with additional names on the bill including Ocean Colour Scene, Beverley Knight, Soul II Soul, Chic featuring Nile Rogers, Squeeze, Level 42 and many more.

Tickets: £67 for the day or £122 for the weekend. See
