Alt-rockers Blitz Kids are set to appear at the Talking Heads, Southampton as part of their biggest ever headline tour.

The band has had a busy year hitting the festival circuit hard with appearances at Sonisphere, 2000 Trees and Red Bull X Fighters in the Olympic Park in Munich.

In January this year Joe, Jonno, Nick and Matt also released their second full-length studio album The Good Youth, follow up to 2012’s Never Die .

Recorded in Los Angeles with John Feldmann of Goldfinger fame, Blitz Kids’ latest offering was voted Kerrang! Album Of The Week with single Sometimes getting placed on both the Radio 1 and XFM playlists.

‘This is the biggest headline run we’ve ever done, so we’re going to bring our A game,’ says guitar player Jono Yates.

‘We can’t wait to share some sweat with our fans again after a summer of festivals.’

Blitz Kids hit Talking Heads on Wednesday at 7.30pm. Tickets: £8. Visit talkingheads.vticket.co.uk
