An artist who has previously supported KT Tunstall, Richard Ashcroft and Elvis Costello is performing a sold out show at the Cellars at Eastney tomorrow.

As part of his UK tour, ‘How To Nearly Make It In The Music Industry,’ David Ford will host an evening of music and conversation, discussing his career.

He rose to recognition in 2001 with the indie rock group Easyworld, who released three albums before parting ways in 2004.

Soon after, he began his own solo career and released two albums, I Sincerely Apologise For All The Trouble I’ve Caused (2005) and Songs for the Road (2007), which was the Sunday Times and Word magazine’s, Album of the Year.

His most recent album, Let The Hard Times Roll, came out in October.
