American rock outfit Circa Survive are about to dish up a dose of high-octane guitar riffing on the south coast.

The Philadelphia band will play at the Southampton Engine Rooms tonight.

Singer Anthony Green says it’s been far too long since they last played in the UK.

‘Can’t wait to get sweaty over there with you all,’ he says.

Circa Survive began their career with the genre-bending album Juturna in 2005.

They signed with Atlantic Records to release Blue Sky Noise in 2010, which debuted at No.11 on the Billboard Top 200.

Their latest album, Descensus, was produced, engineered, and mixed by Will Yipof Studio 4. The band features guitarists Colin Frangicetto and Brendan Ekstrom. The gig starts at 7pm and will also feature RX bandits, see engineroomssouthampton.com.
