Have your say

After only catching a small part of last weekend’s Southsea Fest, I have to say that The Pigeon Detectives smashed it, which was a nice throwback to my teenage years.

Starting things off tonight, Portsmouth’s drum and bass promoters OHM are back at Junk, Southampton. This time OHM return with another huge artist to boot as Ulterior Motive is set to headline. With releases on the likes of Metalheadz and Critical, this duo will no doubt put on a superb DJ set. Doors open from 10.30pm until 4am with OHM resident DJs and dubstep record label Uprise Audio on the bill. Early bird tickets cost £5 with more details at facebook.com
In Portsmouth’s drum and bass scene tonight, Murky D&B will be bringing their energetic mixes back at The Old Barn, Milton with headliner DJ, Nicky Blackmarket. Blackmarket is one of the most highly-regarded DJs in the scene, stemming back to his jungle roots on the ’90s.

Joining the energetic bill will be Murky residents alongside 20 Hertz in room 2. Doors open from 8pm until 1.30am with advance tickets costing £7. More information available at facebook.com

Tomorrow evening, Mutiny Festival returns for a reunion with none other than chart topper Sigma at Portsmouth Guildhall from 9pm until 2am. Be sure to grab your tickets quick! More details at facebook.com
Tomorrow will also see Love Amplified presenting Latmun and Kydus at Envy as part of their ongoing residency. As usual, Amplified residents will join the bill and tickets cost £8. Doors open from 10.30pm until 3.30am – expect plenty of tech house! More at facebook.com
