Last weekend’s Portsmouth Summer Show was a baby-raving success. Although I don’t have children myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the family day festival.

The highlight for me was seeing how much fun the kids and parents had in the Ickle Bambino Baby Rave tent. Be sure to check out their next event on Sunday, July 12 at The Square Tower in Old Portsmouth. Go to icklebambinobabyraves.co.uk .

Tonight is all about Portsmouth’s new nightclub in Guildhall Walk, which is aiming to mix up the weekend game and take it all to the next level.

To celebrate their successful launch, LEVEL Night Club have gone and booked one of the biggest DJs on BBC 1XTRA’s rotation, the multi-award winning remix kid Seani B.

From 10pm until 5am and split across two levels, you can catch support sets from some of the following DJs: DJ Flex, Mista Mikey, DJ Biggs and DJ Rudy.

Don’t miss your chance to check out this new venue tonight, standard tickets are £8 from eventbrite.co.uk.

The sun is shining, and it is meant to be a boiling hot weekend, so that to me screams out a Love Amplified Glashaus takeover. Not wanting to disappoint you, they are back at The Pyramids this weekend.

Celebrating another year of success, Amplified present WE ARE 8 from 2pm until 10pm.

Obviously they have secured a wicked line up for their birthday, packed with local talent and headline DJs.

This time you are treated to As I Am and Man Without A Clue from Defected records, LuvStuff from Mad Tech and one more act still to be announced.

Not forgetting support from their residents: Soul Divide, The Business Partners, Abbo, FowlPlay and Ash Foster.

And guest sets from locals like Barney Osborne, Brandon Lilly and Luke & Hugo.

As standard they have a secret after party from 10.30pm until 4am that will be announced on the day. Join them and party non-stop. Just day or after party tickets are £10, both will be £17.50 available from Resident Advisor or Fatsoma.
