Have your say

No words can describe how much fun I had at the weekend at Discreet.

The level of production was in a different league and it was even complete with an interactive zombie tunnel which was filled with actors who really helped bring the event together. Terrifying fun.

I say it all the time, but if you haven’t been to a Discreet event then you need to make sure you do.

Tonight is the long-awaited Relaunch party for Lush FM, everybody’s favourite local radio station that has supported a variety of local talent over its time, and its finally back on air.

They will be venturing into the newly refurbished Al’Burrito Bar on Albert Road in Southsea from 9pm until 3am.

Upstairs will be a mix of drum and bass and jungle with DJs such as Ozzy G, Nooch, Soundz, Point 4 , Elsta , Vinyl Richie and Dutty.

Meanwhile downstairs will include the best in house, garage and bass with tunes being played by Brandon Lilly, Ash Foster, James Foster, DJ Biggs, Matt Clarke and Callum James.

It’s been a while since these guys have done a party and every time they do it’s hit capacity, so head down early to avoid disappointment.

Entry is free before 10pm.

Tomorrow night there is also another special event that is not to be missed. Treating us a bit like an early Christmas present are Det Sync, who will be taking their legendary sound system and their selection of talented and somewhat entertaining resident DJs to the Edge of the Wedge from 9pm until 2.30am.

Their epic line up will consist of Jon Gurd, Killawatt, Pete Callard, Tom Powell and a debut from Adicon.

It will also include a wide variety of tunes that they have produced themselves and have had some pretty good success with.

So if you want to attend an event where the vibes are spot on, the people are lovely (well, apart from Pete Callard!) and the music will keep you partying until you get kicked out, then this is the one for you.

Entry is free all night.
