Kicking things of this weekend, Wasted Promotions are taking over Tiger Tiger’s club room tonight from 10pm until 3am with Wizards Assemble.

Tickets cost £5 and entry includes a free wand, graduation certificate, themed drinks and DJ set from DJ Gregg Wilson.

However if magic isn’t you thing, House Knights will be taking over The Old Barn, Milton, from 8pm until 1.30am as they present House of Love.

In the theme of Valentines day, the DJ collective will be pumping plenty of house and techno vibes with local DJs Ammy, Hamm Rice, Bexey, Cliquee and Replay.

Tonight is also the return of It’s A Sin at The Wedgewood Rooms, Albert Road, which will no doubt be playing plenty of cheese-riddled love songs from over the years. As usual, expect DJ sets full of plenty of fun from 10.30pm until 2am.

On the drum and bass front this weekend, tomorrow, fresh promoters Glacier Events will present Retaliation at The Loft, Albert Road.

The event will feature a mixture of drum and bass vibes from Lista alongside After Hours resident DJs Drift, MCB and Flatline with 20 Hertz resident Piramyd.

This exciting event will showcase some of Portsmouth’s fresh talent in the drum and bass scene in an intimate venue. It runs from 8pm until 1am with tickets £4 in advance or £5 on the doors with more information at facebook.com
