Musical acts are often described as unique when they are clearly not, but that’s not a charge you could level at The Hut People.
The instrumental duo of accordionist Sam Pirt and percussionist Gary Hammond take the audience on a musical journey around the world, mixing global rhythms with folk tunes from Quebec to Spain, Scandinavia to Sussex and everywhere in between.
They promise a show like nothing you’ve ever seen before – expect feel-good dancing tunes, audience participation, step dancing, Quebecois foot-percussion and humour aplenty.
They are at the Ashcroft Arts Centre, Fareham tonight, doors, 7.30pm. Tickets £12, go to hants.gov.uk/ashcroft
