A surprisingly energetic Wedgewood Rooms crowd eagerly awaited a band that, in recent years, have been slightly underproductive when it comes to studio albums.
Every Time I Die’s reputation for putting on a good live show is infamous though.
A heavy drone played and the lights dropped before the band launched into a barrage of southern rock stylings blended with classic metalcore. Songs like Wanderlust and the bonus track from Guitar Hero 2, The New Black, were definite crowd pleasers and showcased vocalist Keith Buckley’s voice brilliantly. Support on the night came from Spycatcher, Defeater and a rather enjoyable set of short and very heavy music from Trash Talk.
