The Isle of Wight Festival will be celebrating punk turning 40 with the latest additions to its bill.

Iggy Pop, Adam Ant, The Damned, Buzzcocks, The Godfathers and an all-female tribute to the Sex Pistols have been added to the 2016 line-up.

The six new acts will all join Queen + Adam Lambert, Stereophonics and Faithless to perform over the weekend of June 9 to 12 in Seaclose Park, Newport.
