Guitar-playing brothers from Portsmouth, Dominic and Danie Jerling have been friends with Frankie Cocozza since working the summer season in Malia in Crete together in 2010.

The following year Frankie achieved fame and notoriety when he appeared on the X Factor – he was booted out for boasting of his drug use. He later went on to become runner-up in 2012’s Celebrity Big Brother.

But now he’s back with his old friends, along with Tom Stamp and Mark Day as The Telescreen.

They plan to release their debut album later this year.

The Jerlings will have their homecoming with the rest of the band at The Cellars in Eastney on Sunday. Doors at 7.30pm, tickets cost £8, £10 on the door. Go to
