According to a statement, Chas Hodges, 73, discovered he had oesophageal cancer after hospital tests, but: ‘luckily this has been spotted at an early stage and he’ll be undergoing treatment immediately.’

The pair, who had massive hits with Gertcha, Rabbit, and Snooker Loopy, are expected to play Ferneham Hall on Friday, March 3, as part of an extensive 2017 tour dubbed The Full Story Live.

A string of national dates have been cancelled, but a spokesman confirmed the Fareham date is still slated to go ahead.
