Youngsters prove their ‘metal’ with rock concert

Have your say

Like hard rock, but find that all those vocals just get in the way?

If so, The Taz Taylor Band are the ones you’ve been looking for.

With a brand new album out – Deja Voodoo– as Taz puts it: ‘We play instrumental hard rock aimed at people who just love old school hard rock – big riffs, big drums, and guitar solos. All the elements that get you tapping the steering wheel of your car and playing air guitar, without the need for lyrics.’

In the last couple of years, they’ve opened for an impressive roll call of acts including UFO, MSG, Uli Jon Roth, Dokken, Skid Row, Great White, Pat Travers, LA Guns and Molly Hatchet.

Doors open at The Cellars in Eastney on Monday at 7.30pm and tickets cost £8 advance, £10 on the door. Go to thecellars.co.uk
