The headliners for this year’s Southsea Fest have been announced – with Pulled Apart by Horses, Ed Harcourt and DZ Deathrays joining an already stellar line-up.
Neo-grungers Pulled Apart by Horses will be bringing proceedings to a suitably high-octane climax at The Wedgewood Rooms, while acclaimed singer-songwriter Harcourt will headline at the Kings Theatre.
Now in its eighth year Southsea Fest will take over the Albert Road area on Saturday, September 20.
The day will see dozens of bands play in pubs, cafes and clubs, with one wristband giving entry to all the venues.
Also joining the bill are the pleasingly heavy Dinosaur Pile-Up, modern day pop poet Flyte, and rising local star Laurel, who has been described by The Guardian as ‘taking influences from Britney, Laura Marling and Lana Del Rey... she makes woozy, slightly subdued pop.’
Tickets are £18 for an adult all-day pass, and £10 for a teen ticket. Under 13s are free. Go to musicglue.com/ssf/
