HUNDREDS of people packed out Butser Hill to enjoy a day of live music and festivities.

The annual Butserfest returned to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park near Horndean and despite some light showers and an overcast sky, good times were had all round.

The event is alcohol and drug-free and organised by East Hampshire District Council.

Students from Southampton Solent University were gaining hands-on experience by providing the technical support and running a live stream to the website.

Television and video production student Ben Spencer, 20, said: ‘I’m enjoying it and I’m really impressed with the line-up.’

People came from all over to enjoy the festival.

Friends Holly Howlett, 16, and Meghan Takwani, 15, had travelled from Croydon.

Holly said: ‘It’s been really good. It’s been awesome.’
