Their debut record, Bank Place Locomotive Society, was ‘Album of the Month’ at Radio 1 Scotland and now Tango In The Attic are bringing their uplifting pop down to Southsea.

The Scottish band, who formed in 2008 at Edinburgh university, released their debut in July on their own label.

They appeared at T in The Park in 2009 and Rockness in 2010. But their success isn’t just limited to the north of the border. Their album has sold in 11 different countries. And, across the UK, their song Jackanory can be heard in the first TV advert for fashion retailer Schuh.

n See them on Thursday at The Cellars at Eastney with support from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 on the door or £6 from or (023) 9282 6249.
