Johnny Coppin brings Christmas spirit to Havant

As Christmas steadily approaches, there are some artists who seem to thrive on the festive celebrations.

One such artist is Johnny Coppin, who is on tour following the release of his new Christmas album, All On A Winter’s Night.

Touring alongside Paul Burgess (ex John Fitzpatrick Band) and Dik Cadbury, who performed alongside Coppin in folk band Decameron, the group will be performing at the Spring Arts in Havant this weekend, as part of an eight-date tour.

With songs played on both guitar and piano, his songs have a quintessentially British sound, with traditional material being worked among a host of new, original songs - including Snow In The Street, set in a William Morris poem.

Johnny Coppin has been performing at a variety of festivals and concert halls, as well as presenting the Acoustic Music programme on BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

Tickets cost £15 and £13.50 for concessions - to book, visit thespring.co.uk
