It was a sell-out at the Wedgewood Rooms as Kate Nash rolled into town.
The crowd didn’t have to wait long to be entertained. After a short introductory film hosted by Miss Nash herself, Brigitte Aphrodite and the VOB took to the stage and kicked things off with a unique, honest and actually quite brilliant performance.
It was like nothing I had seen before, but would now definitely consider myself a fan.
Aphrodite and the VOB’s beautifully chaotic set included tracks such as Miss Hedonistic and the brilliantly manic Dance With A Stranger.
By the end of their set, Aphrodite had the capacity crowd eating out of her hands.
As the stage was filled with props and the lights began to fade, the Wedgewood Rooms went wild as Kate Nash made her way to the microphone, and began her set with I just Love You More.
The atmosphere was outstanding as Nash continued to please the crowd with tracks such as Mouthwash and Do Wha Doo, each of which was met with deafening applause as everyone sang and danced along throughout the entire show.
Kate Nash once again showed that she is the best at what she does, and long may it continue.
