Following the release of their second consecutive top 20 album, 2016’s hugely acclaimed Summer 08, Metronomy have well and truly cemented themselves as crossover electronic pop royalty, and one of the most exciting new wave groups of a generation.

The 5,000 capacity event will be welcoming Queen’s Speech-freestyler Lady Leshurr to the main stage, as well as BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Sian Anderson who will headline The Blisscotheque – a specially kitted out double-decker Routemaster.

Elsewhere, grime crossover outfit S4U have already been tipped by Noisey as ‘the sound of your new favourite pop group,’ their TLC-like grooves also chalked for The Blisscotheque, where Reprazent Radio and Rinse FM figure Naina will be taking to the wheels.

And here’s a welcome return this year for festival favourites and Blissfields family Dub Pistols.

Also new and confirmed for the independent festival in 2017 are free hot air balloon rides, real flushing toilets across the entire festival, no booking fees on tickets and a Victorian funfair.

Speaking about the hot air balloon rides, event co-founder Paul Bliss says: ‘I used to run free tractor rides back when the festival was on the land behind our house.

‘We wanted to bring a bit of that back, only on a scale we could never have done back then.’

Adult weekend tickets are on sale now for £95.
