Turkey has a fascinating and rich tradition of music – but millions of tourists have never experienced it.
However, one musician has made a commitment to bringing his music to the notice of a wider audience and this quest brings him to Bosham tomorrow.
At the invitation of WemsFest organiser Mark Ringwood, the Sufi musician Latif Bolat is taking his traditional instruments, poetry, music and images to Hamblin Hall.
The pair met when Mark was on a bus in Cappadocia in central southern Turkey and Latif was sitting next to him.
WemsFest is the arts festival for Westbourne, Emsworth and the surrounding area.
Tickets (£12.50 plus booking fee) are available on the door, and in advance from Bookends (Emsworth), and at wegottickets.com.
