He’s the brother of The Hobbit – Martin – and another successful musician – Tim, who led The Frazier Chorus in the 80s – but it is Jamie Freeman’s long-overdue turn to step into the limelight.
Five-piece band The Jamie Freeman Agreement, hailed as ‘the UK’s very own Americana virtuosos’ by roots music experts Spiral Earth, will be at The Square Tower in Old Portsmouth tomorrow night, doors 7.15pm.
Recently releasedalbum 100 Miles From Town boasts an array of supporting talent – testament to Jamie’s songwriting skills, with guests including Mark Chadwick (The Levellers) as executive producer, Larkin Poe, Brandy Zdan (Twilight Hotel), Good Lovelies, BJ Cole and Richard Smith.
