It’s been a long time between drinks for Chas & Dave.

Before the pop-rock duo’s latest release, That’s What Happens, their last album, Street Party, was all the way back in 1995.

That’s What Happens features a crack team of musicians and special guests including guitarists Albert Lee and Martin Taylor, Buddy Holly and The Crickets’ drummer Jerry Allison, and Jools Holland and Hugh Laurie on keyboards.

The duo are now Fareham-bound as part of their On The Road tour and will play at Ferneham Hall tonight at 7.30pm.

The duo arrived on the music scene in the 1970s and had hits including Gertcha Rabbit, The Sideboard Song and Margate and Ain’t No Pleasing You.

Tickets £26.50 from fernehamhall.co.uk or call 01329 231942.
