PORTSMOUTH ferry terminals have been packed out as festival-goers made their way over to the Isle of Wight.

More than 50,000 people are expected to attend the Isle of Wight Festival this weekend.

And those on the Wightlink car ferry out of Portsmouth got an unexpected bonus – Naked Fridays, who open the main stage on Sunday, were playing onboard as well.

Musical treats over the weekend include Kings of Leon, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Biffy Clyro.

See today’s Guide for the Big Interview with Travis, who close proceedings on Sunday, and to see who’s playing when.

We will also be tweeting from the festival using the #IOWFest hashtag, and check portsmouth.co.uk for updates throughout the weekend.
