Black Star Riders come under Heavy Fire on their latest tour

Gathering more fans and momentum since supporting Bastille, The Ramona Flowers are now on a headline tour of their own.

The Bristol-based band, whose singles include Lust and Lies and September release Brighter, have been noted for their rawness and readiness to experiment with a number of styles.

Hot Chip and Ladytron have remixed the band’s material, and NME describe their textural sound as ‘a wholly different beast, and one that could have feasibly fitted on Radiohead’s Kid A’.

The Ramona Flowers play Southampton Joiners on Tuesday. Tickets are £6 in advance and £8 on the door.
