Aubrey Small were one of the most successful groups to come out of Portsmouth in the 1970s and now fans can recapture the magic at a reunion gig.

The band will be playing Eastney’s Cellars on Sunday to mark the launch of their official website aubreysmall.com and to publicise the limited edition re-release of their original vinyl album and single by the Record Collector magazine.

Aubrey Small emerged in the new era of progressive rock and performed for the first time on Valentine’s Day 1970 at South Parade Pier.

They went on to appear regularly at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London and recorded sessions for Radio 1, also appearing in front of a live studio audience.

Tickets: £5 in advance and £6 on the door. Doors at 7.30pm. Visit thecellars.co.uk.
