Have your say

I’ll admit, I wanted to see Blue live to take a trip down memory lane.

I spent many of my teenage years listening to their music, so it was very nostalgic for me seeing them perform at Portsmouth Guildhall.

They may have had a few years off, but they had a big boost to their popularity when they appeared on TV show The Big Reunion.

And they proved they can still gel as a band with their voices as strong as ever.

The group opened with We’ve Got Tonight, from their latest album Roulette. They then pleased the crowd by going straight back to the early 2000s, performing Bubblin, Fly By and Too Close.

They interacted well with the crowd and introduced a number of songs from their new album before closing with their biggest hit All Rise.

I enjoyed watching Blue again, I had seen them live when I was younger, but it’s different watching them more than 10 years later as they have matured and moved on.

I would like to think this is a good comeback for the group, but whether or not music fans will agree and buy their album, only time will tell.
