The Pigeon Detectives rocked the sold-out Wedge in spooky style this Halloween.

The five-piece indie rock band emerged on stage to Michael Jackson’s Thriller wearing skeleton costumes complete with face paint.

The group kicked off with a rendition of I’m Not Gonna Take This and had the crowd dancing from the beginning. Notable highlights which really got the crowd going included This is an Emergency and Take Her Back.

Bowman performed in his unique and energetic way throughout. From swinging the microphone around to dousing the crowd in bottled water, his boundless energy never faltered from start to finish. He asked to see the ‘tallest crowd of the tour’ and with that many of the audience mounted the shoulders of others.

The fans demanded an encore and the group did not disappoint as they drew the night to a close with their highest charting single, I’m Not Sorry.

Support was provided by The Mexanines and Hares.
