Football-mad rock legend Rod Stewart is kicking off a short tour when he plays at Brighton and Hove Albion’s Amex stadium tonight.
And it marks the first time he will have played in Brighton since 1986.
Rod says: ‘It’s great to play smaller places, though they’re not exactly small venues.
‘I tend to go to the same places every year, Manchester, Glasgow, London, it’s nice to mix it up and go to other places.
‘It’s what I do and I love doing it. It’s my job and I am just loving it. It’s a wonderful way to earn a shilling.’
